We had the opportunity to participate in the Dutch Innovation Days, where Bernhard joined Meta Knol for an insightful talk on the synergy of science and art. Their discussion focused on the importance of creative thinking in addressing today’s complex and interconnected challenges.
Bernhard and Meta emphasized that as global issues like climate change and social inequality become more intricate, innovative and interdisciplinary approaches are essential. They discussed how blending the analytical strengths of science with the imaginative capabilities of art can lead to new ways of addressing these problems.
At Foundation We Are, we believe that human-scale collaborations can make a significant impact. By working together across different fields, we can tackle small aspects of larger challenges, potentially influencing broader societal developments. This approach is about rethinking how we address issues, breaking down traditional barriers, and fostering a more interconnected and empathetic world.
It was a pleasure to be at the Dutch Innovation Days and engage in such a meaningful conversation with Meta Knol. The event provided a platform for exploring new ideas and fostering collaborations that bridge diverse fields. Sharing our perspectives on the importance of science and art working together was a rewarding experience, and we were inspired by the innovative thinking and enthusiasm of all participants.
Being part of this event reinforced our commitment to creativity and collaboration in addressing complex problems. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and explore how we can collectively steer societal development in positive directions. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to these important discussions. Let’s continue to innovate and work together for a better future.
